Job Description:
The Site Engineer will be responsible for supervising construction activities at the project site and ensuring smooth and timely execution of works in compliance with technical standards, safety norms, and project requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Supervise assigned construction activities and ensure proper execution at site
Possess strong knowledge of SOR (Schedule of Rates) and IS (Indian Standard) codes
Coordinate with government departments, consultants, architects, and engineers
Understand building construction processes and site execution methods
Study and interpret structural and architectural drawings accurately
Prepare and review Bar Bending Schedules (BBS)
Ensure adherence to safety norms and company standards
Provide instructions and clearances to skilled and semi-skilled workers
Prepare detailed micro plans and coordinate tasks with the Project Manager
Take ownership of assigned site responsibilities and report daily progress
Maintain a safe, organized, and secure work environment
Build positive working relationships with workers, contractors, and department engineers
Participate in team meetings and site coordination activities
Prepare engineering plans, drawings, and specifications
Conduct technical and feasibility studies and prepare project blueprints
Qualifications & Experience:
Education: B.E. / B.Tech in Civil Engineering
Experience: Minimum 5 years in building construction projects, preferably government works
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in AutoCAD and MS Office
Strong understanding of SOR, IS codes, and BBS preparation
Excellent site supervision, coordination, and team management skills
Strong communication abilities
Additional Requirement:
Must be willing to reliably commute or relocate to Ujjain (relocation support provided if applicable)
