Position Summary:
The Branch Head – Automobile is responsible for overall branch management and operational excellence. This role ensures achievement of sales and service targets, profitability, and high customer satisfaction while leading sales, service, parts, finance, and administrative functions in line with company policies and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities:
Branch Operations Management:
Oversee daily branch operations to ensure smooth workflow and efficiency
Maintain accurate records of sales, service, inventory, and financial transactions
Ensure effective utilization of branch resources, equipment, and infrastructure
Sales & Business Development:
Plan and execute strategies to achieve sales and revenue targets
Identify and develop new business opportunities including corporate and fleet accounts
Monitor sales performance and take corrective actions when required
Customer Service & Experience:
Ensure high standards of customer service across all departments
Handle and resolve escalated customer complaints effectively
Drive initiatives to improve customer satisfaction, loyalty, and retention
Team Leadership & HR Management:
Lead, mentor, and develop branch staff to achieve performance goals
Conduct performance reviews and implement training and development plans
Promote a culture of accountability, teamwork, and professionalism
Financial & Resource Management:
Monitor branch financial performance including revenue, expenses, and profitability
Prepare and submit operational and financial reports to regional management
Implement cost-control measures while maintaining service quality
Compliance & Governance:
Ensure compliance with company policies, legal regulations, and safety standards
Maintain documentation for audits and statutory requirements
Conduct regular inspections and internal audits
Stakeholder & Vendor Management:
Build strong relationships with customers, vendors, and key stakeholders
Coordinate with marketing and corporate teams for promotions and campaigns
Represent the branch in corporate meetings and external forums
Qualifications & Skills:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Management, or a related field
Strong leadership and people management skills
In-depth knowledge of automobile sales, service operations, inventory, and dealership processes
Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities
Proficiency in MS Office and dealership management systems is preferred
